Popularity of a reptile as a pet

You cannot surprise anyone having an exotic animal instead of traditional cats, dogs, parrots and fish. Although photos on Instagram with fluffy cats and puppies have reached the peak of popularity. Shots with snakes and lizards are more popular at the moment and attract more and more instagram seguidores - subscribers.

A reptile as a pet is not unusual now. Many of us had turtles in our childhood - at home or in school zoo corners. Turtles are reptiles too, but this animal looks familiar and not as exotic as an iguana.

Nowadays the market offers us a rather wide choice: lizards and snakes of different types and stripes, crocodiles and the same turtles. However, the choice of a pet must be approached responsibly and consciously. This is especially important when you choose a tropical animal that is not adapted to the northern climate.
