Found Animals’ Adopt & Shop pet store and adoption center was conceived in support of a single belief: all pets deserve a home. The first Adopt & Shop opened its doors in 2011 at the Lakewood Center Mall and has since paired over 2, 100 dogs and cats from local shelters with loving homes and caring families. While we love caring for our animals and keeping them happy, we love seeing our animals find the perfect home with a loving family. Our pet store in Lakewood operates on the premise of dedication to the happiness and care of all animals, and making the perfect match for owners and pets!

Our adoptable dogs and cats come from local shelters along with our support to ensure families are able to create happy and healthy homes for their pets over the long term. Because we’re a nonprofit, purchasing from Adopt & Shop helps more than your favorite pet; it helps all pets. Proceeds from our retail sales are reinvested to improve the well-being of animals everywhere.

A wide variety of services are available at our Lakewood store to support happy and healthy pets, including dog and cat adoptions, dog training, microchipping and registration, nail trimming, and custom identification tags.
